“For whatsoever things were written earlier, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Romans 15:4
In our society, young men and women have many educational choices to make when choosing a career. After they graduate from their school of choice, they enter their specific field. Even though they have a degree, they are not yet experts in their field. Expertise, in any field, matures through time, after which teaching others is then practical.
Intercession, if compared to a field of expertise, is something best taught by the Holy Spirit. He alone knows the ins and outs of every intercession. With love and skill He shares His knowledge with those who seek to receive such from Him. This knowledge comes through patience as we understand the scriptures and the role of the Holy Spirit. Teachers who do are skilled in the Word and familiar with the voice of the Holy Spirit. Such teachers are valuable assets to point believers to the source of their learning intercession: the person of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s ensure we grasp the scriptures and hold to their truth!
